The Adult/Child Interaction (Words Up) section aims to develop a whole-school understanding of the importance of adult/child interaction as core to
supporting children’s language and communication across the school. The Words Up sessions are in two parts, designed to, provide an overview of adult/child interaction from the early years through to the end of primary school:

• Part 1: Words Up Early (until the end of Primary 1)

• Part 2: Words Up Primary (P2 – P7).
