The Sequence and Narrative section aims to develop a whole-school understanding of the sequence and narrative skills which support
children’s oral language comprehension and their ability to create and generate texts. The professional learning is in two parts, designed so that schools would begin with Part 1, providing time inbetween Part 1 and Part 2 to develop aspects in practice, and time after Part 2 to further develop principles into practice prior to moving on to another aspect of the whole-school literacy, language and communication toolkit.
