Supporting Working Memory

The Supporting Working Memory section aims to develop a whole-school understanding of the signs of working memory overload and how practitioners can prevent working memory overload through developing a working memory friendly classroom. The professional learning is in two parts, designed so that schools would begin with Part 1, providing time inbetween Part 1 and Part 2 to develop aspects in practice, and time after Part 2 to further develop principles into practice prior to moving on to another aspect of the whole-school literacy, language and communication toolkit.
