Literacy: Career Management Skills

DYWFollowing our post back in March on Literacy and Communication Skills, a resource has now been published to support schools in shaping Career Management Skills within their Literacy and Health and Wellbeing curriculum at the end of Second Level. The P7 pupils pupils in the Millburn Area School Group (ASG) have been developing oral and written communication skills, research skills, critical thinking skills, the skill of making connections, presentation skills and comparing and contrasting sources through the context of Career Education linked to Developing the Young Workforce (DYW).

Last month Education Scotland  shared the work of the Primary 7 pupils in the Millburn Area School Group (ASG) on the National Improvement Hub: DYW – Interesting Practice: Developing Career Management Skills: Millburn Area School Group.
